Belawadi is an Indian film, theatre, and television actor. He is known for his work in Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil cinema. Belawadi has appeared in over 150 films in a career spanning more than three decades. He has won several awards for his work, including the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor in 2007 for his performance in the film "Dweepa". Belawadi began his career in theatre in the early 1980s. He made his film debut in the 1984 Kannada film "Chandamama". He went on to appear in a number of Kannada films, including "Pushpaka Vimana" (1987), "Amrutha Varshini" (1988), and "Mysore Mallige" (1992). Belawadi made his Hindi film debut in the 1994 film "1942: A Love Story". He went on to appear in a number of Hindi films, including "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" (1995), "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (1998), and "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" (2001). Belawadi has also appeared in a number of Tamil films, including "Chandramukhi" (2005), "Sivaji" (2007), and "Anniyan" (2005).
